We Connect Industrial Plants with Skilled Trades Across Canada

Our partners

What We Do

The GPMC | NMC simplifies industrial maintenance by uniting 13 building trades unions under single contracts. This means companies get streamlined access to qualified workers for their maintenance projects—no need to negotiate with multiple unions separately.

Champion Workplace Safety

Through our annual Canadian Safety Achievement Awards and ongoing commitment to training, we help maintain the safest, most productive workforce in the nation.

Simplify Complex Projects

We provide one collective agreement covering all 13 construction trades for both routine maintenance and plant shutdowns—eliminating the need to navigate and administer multiple agreements.

Connect Industry with Skilled Workers

Our agreements give industrial facilities access to highly trained tradespeople for oil refineries, power plants, mining operations, manufacturing facilities, and other critical infrastructure.

Support Working Families

We create stable, long-term employment opportunities that continue after construction ends, providing good wages and benefits for thousands of skilled workers and their families.

Canadian Safety Achievement Awards

Each year, we recognize outstanding safety achievements in the unionized maintenance industry through six Canadian Safety Achievement Awards. Join us in honoring the companies and workers who are setting new standards for health and safety across Canada.
